November is a weak window for Amboli: the southwest monsoon that defines the place has ended, and the waterfalls and streams that are its main draw have thinned to a trickle. The Ghats lose the dramatic green-and-mist spectacle of the June–September peak, leaving little reason to make the climb until the rains return.
