Bangaram Island in November
Lakshadweep, India
Go in November — season is just starting with calm seas, excellent underwater visibility, and fewer crowds than peak winter months ahead.
Peak crowds
November is one of Bangaram Island's busiest months. The score rates conditions — weather, access, value — not how many people you'll share them with. Resort island busiest Nov–Mar during school holidays and cool season; monsoon swells make sea access risky Jun–Sep.
November on Bangaram is properly back in business. The northeast monsoon hammers the Coromandel coast but largely sidesteps the Lakshadweep chain — rainfall stays under 80mm, the Arabian Sea flattens out, dive visibility at the western reef wall holds 28-32m. Air 23-30C, water 27-28C. Bangaram Island Resort sits at 90 percent occupancy; bookings need to be in 45 days ahead. Manta-ray sightings at Manta Point restart from around November 15 as the water cools below 29C — peak season runs December to March. The 30-minute Agatti speedboat keeps its full twice-daily schedule. The dive school operates at full capacity. The bar — the chain's only legal pour — runs full hours. CGH Earth's rate card lifts from shoulder to peak around November 20, with the Christmas-NY surcharge layering on from December 22. Strong call for first-time visitors who can absorb the resort tariff and want the chain's flagship experience.
