Morgaon in November
Maharashtra, India
Peak crowds
November is one of Morgaon's busiest months. The score rates conditions — weather, access, value — not how many people you'll share them with. Pilgrimage temple town (Astavinayak); Oct–Mar post-monsoon cool season draws devotees; May–Aug pre-monsoon heat and monsoon rains deter crowds.
November is the year-best Morgaon. The post-monsoon Pune-plateau green still holds through first two weeks; daytime 16-30C, nights 12-14C — the sharpest cool weather of the year. The svayambhu Mayureshwar darshan at full 5am-10pm schedule with light woolens needed for the 5am slot. The peacock-Ganesh murti with the Nagaraj-cobra canopy and lion-vahana iconography sits in its cleanest visual presentation of the year. Karha river at clean post-monsoon flow; the temple ghat fully restored. Sankashti Chaturthi mid-month brings standard Tuesday density. The 64km Pune drive runs cleanest of the year — 85-90 minutes on weekday mornings, surface condition of the Saswad ghat at its annual best after the monsoon-repair cycle. Pilgrim lodgings ₹500-1,500 at standard rates. Pune escape weekend traffic from Friday afternoon onward is the only operational caveat — book Sunday-Tuesday for the cleanest experience.
