February is one of Little Andaman's busiest months. The score rates conditions — weather, access, value — not how many people you'll share them with. Peak Nov–Mar for dry season and holiday crowds; Jun–Sep monsoon makes it inaccessible and empty.
Little Andaman in February is the cleanest version of the trip. Rainfall under 25mm for the month, Hut Bay ferry runs daily on the 6-8 hour crossing, sea state at year-low. Air 24-30C, humidity 73 percent. Surf at Kumari and Butler Bay is at year-best consistency - 1.5-2 metre swell, offshore mornings, small Hut Bay surf community running informal lessons at 1,500-2,000 rupees per session. White Surf Waterfall is a dry 2km walk; Whisper Wave is the harder 5km trail with rope-assist on steep sections. The two elephant farms are off-limits - Onge Tribal Reserve, requires tribal welfare permits. Hut Bay accommodation is basic - 4-5 guesthouses at 800-1,500 rupees per night.
