Kanchenjunga views from Pelling and Yuksom; Gurudongmar Lake at 5,200 m in the north; Lachung and Lachen are the staging villages for Yumthang Valley and Tso Lhamo; Zuluk is the silk-route loop-road village. Inner Line Permits required for north Sikkim and Nathu La. The state passed a near-complete plastic ban; tap water is potable in most towns. 11 destinations across the state.
