Zuluk
Sikkim ยท East Sikkim ยท 2,800m
The Silk Route's 32 hairpin bends โ where the road itself is the destination and Kanchenjunga fills the horizon.
Why Special
Zuluk (Dzuluk) sits on the ancient Silk Route connecting Tibet to India through East Sikkim. The road features 32 dramatic hairpin bends visible in a single panoramic sweep from Thambi View Point โ one of India's most spectacular road engineering feats. At 2,800m, Zuluk offers stunning sunrise views of Kanchenjunga. Thambi View Point, Lungthung, and Nathang Valley (one of the coldest inhabited places in Sikkim) are highlights. The area was a major military route and retains bunkers from the 1962 war. Very few tourists โ genuinely offbeat.
