Buried 28km west of Pelling on the Dentam-Uttarey road, past where most rented Boleros turn around. No food, no shops, no signage in English — just two villages connected by an iron span over a 100m drop.WHY NOBODY KNOWS
At 240m long and over 100m above the gorge floor, this is the second-highest suspension bridge in Asia and the highest in Sikkim, built by the state PWD in the early 2000s to link Dentam and Uttarey villages. Walk the centre and the bridge moves with the wind. The waterfalls feeding the gorge below are visible only from this span.
