Snow leopard tracking from Kibber winds down by mid-March as the cats move higher. Hotel Sakya and Deyzor continue running; village homestays start reopening from the last week. Key Monastery 12km is accessible. The Komic, Hikkim and Langza high-villages (the photographable trio above Kaza) are still snowbound but reachable on day-trips from Kaza in cleared windows.
