कहाँ खाएँ

  • Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara Langar

    लीजेंडरी
    Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara · ₹

    सिग्नेचरkhichdi with hot tea

Eat before the descent, not after arrival — the langar opens early and the hot khichdi at altitude does more for your stamina than any energy bar. Sip the tea slowly; gulping at 4600m can trigger nausea.

  • Govindghat Gurudwara Langar

    लीजेंडरी
    Govindghat · ₹

    सिग्नेचरrajma chawal langar thali

Arrive the night before your trek and sleep in the gurudwara dorm — saves a hotel night and gets you onto the trail by 5am, which is the difference between making Hemkund-and-back in one day or splitting into two.

  • Hotel Bhagat Multi-Cuisine Restaurant

    Govindghat (road head) · ₹₹

    सिग्नेचरAloo paratha with pickle

Order packed parathas the night before — kitchen wraps them in foil for the trek. 5am breakfast service starts only if you tell reception by 9pm; otherwise it kicks in at 6:30am. No alcohol; this is gurudwara town.

  • Hotel Pritam Restaurant

    Ghangaria Base Camp · ₹

    सिग्नेचरdal-rice with hot pakoras

Order dal-rice or thali at lunch (cooked in volume, freshest); avoid the Chinese after 7pm when the kitchen winds down. Pakoras with chai at 4pm — the standard Ghangaria ritual after returning from the Valley of Flowers.
