Manali में कहाँ रुकें

  • Himalayan Extreme Centre

    ₹2000-8000/activity
    operator · Vashisht

The most professional adventure operator in Manali. Skiing, mountaineering, ice climbing — actual certified instructors, not freelancers. Equipment is maintained, not just rented. Worth the premium for safety.

  • The Lazy Dog

    ₹800-1500/night
    guesthouse · Old Manali

Best location in Old Manali — 2 minutes from cafes, feels like a forest. Clean rooms, hot water that actually works, and a garden where travelers swap stories every evening. The owner Suresh knows every trail.

  • Sunshine Guest House

    ₹600-1000/night
    homestay · Vashisht

Family-run place above the hot springs. Aunty cooks rajma chawal that makes you consider extending your trip. Rooms are simple but the hospitality is 5-star. Hot spring access is a 2-minute walk.

कहाँ खाएँ

  • Cafe 1947 (Old Manali)

    Old Manali · ₹₹

    सिग्नेचरwood-fired thin-crust pizza

Sit on the riverside deck — the Beas runs loud enough to drown the speakers; ask for the trout grilled, not fried, to taste what Kullu's hatcheries produce.

  • The Refectory

    लीजेंडरी
The Himalayan, Hadimba Road · ₹₹₹₹

    सिग्नेचरtrout with himachali spices

Book the Conservatory side at sunset — the premier-floor windows frame the snow line above the orchard. The Dungeon Bar (in the eastern turret, Irish-pub styled) is the post-dinner move.

  • Mayur Restaurant

    लीजेंडरी
    Mall Road · ₹₹

    सिग्नेचरtandoori trout fish

It's hard to find — the entrance is signposted off the main strip rather than on it. Ask for sepu badi (rarely on display menus) for a Himachali dish almost no other Mall Road kitchen still cooks daily.

  • The Lazy Dog

    लीजेंडरी
    Old Manali · ₹₹₹

    सिग्नेचरwood-oven pizza with riverside cocktails

The riverside lawn fills first; if you only have an hour, the upstairs deck has the same kitchen and a clearer view of the Beas. Live music nights pull a queue from 9pm.
