If you can reach Bangus in July (doable with a good guide and waterproof gear), the meadow is knee-deep in wildflowers and wrapped in mist. But be honest about your tolerance: leeches are real, trails are slippery, and if something goes wrong, help is hours away. The Kalaroos caves stay dry inside and make an excellent monsoon refuge.
