June in Assagao runs lighter than the Anjuna coastal trip but more functional than most of beach Goa. Bomras stays closed May 25 to mid-August; Edible…

  • Gunpowder

    लीजेंडरी
    Assagao, Bardez · ₹₹

    सिग्नेचरkerala beef fry

Closed Mondays and only does dinner six days a week — most disappointed reviews are people who turned up at 5pm. Order the appam-stew combo even if you came for the beef fry; it's the dish the kitchen is quietly proudest of.

  • Avo's Kitchen

    Assagao, Bardez · ₹₹

    सिग्नेचरfish thali

It opens at 12:30pm and the thali sells through by 3pm in season — go early. The garden seating is small; if you want a long lazy lunch, ask for the back room with the cane chairs.

  • Ciao Bella

    Assagao, Bardez · ₹₹

    सिग्नेचरwood-fired pizza

Sit in the garden, not the indoor room — the place is built around it. Reservations are essential on weekend evenings; walk-ins routinely get turned away from 8pm onwards in season.

  • Mojigao

    Assagao · ₹₹₹

    सिग्नेचरgarden brunch platter

Brunch is what Mojigao is built for — book a garden table before noon. The gluten-free baked goods rotate daily; ask at the counter rather than ordering off the printed list. Mosquitoes find you in the evening; sit higher up on the slope.
