Other primates (Nilgiri langur, bonnet macaque) and mammals (Indian Giant Squirrel, sloth bear rare-sightings) at high detection. Leeches mostly gone by mid-November. Stays: KFD log-house at Mukkali ₹1,900 with permit-bundle, Mukkali homestays ₹1,000-2,200, Anaikatti homestays ₹1,200-2,800. Concentration of weekend domestic traffic from November 15 onward; Mukkali's very thin accommodation (1 KFD log-house + 4-5 homestays) means weekends lock 7-10 days ahead.
