Karkidakam Ayurveda residencies continue through mid-August at established Palakkad-Mannarkkad centres. The Mannarkkad approach (NH213 from Palakkad, 24km) closure events continue 1-2 per week. Lion-tailed Macaque (Macaca silenus, population 200-300) continue in their interior territories but unviewable. KFD log-house at Mukkali at year-low rates outside Onam ₹1,200 with permit-bundle, Mukkali homestays ₹600-1,200, Anaikatti homestays ₹700-1,800. Wait for October.
