Walk-in rates: The Leela Kovalam ₹13-19k, Niraamaya Surya Samudra ₹14-22k, Somatheeram ₹5-8k, mid-tier Lighthouse Beach ₹3-5k — still meaningfully below December 22-January 5 peak. Trivandrum International (TRV) 16km via NH-66, 25-minute taxi. Strong call for first-time Kerala-coast visitors.
