Walk-in rates run at year-low: The Leela Kovalam ₹8-12k, Niraamaya Surya Samudra ₹8-12k, Somatheeram ₹3-5k, mid-tier Lighthouse Beach ₹1.5-2.5k. Karkidakam Ayurveda packages (mid-July to mid-August) start drawing the medicine-tourism segment. Trivandrum International (TRV) 16km flights run normal. The standard beach trip is closed in June.
