The M2M Mandwa-Gateway ferry resumes its full every-30-minute schedule from Oct 1 (₹290-490 foot-passenger, ₹2200-3500 car, 6:30am-9:30pm), the Arabian Sea calms to glass through the month, and beaches from Mandwa-Akshi-Versoli-Nagaon firm up after monsoon erosion (some storm debris persists into mid-October). Temperatures hold 23-31°C with humidity dropping to the 60s. Kolaba Fort low-tide walks are stable — check the daily tide chart. Heritage homestays come back to full menus and full booking. Diwali approaches (Nov 8), and the Konkan villages start preparing diyas and rangoli through late October.
