All cities connected by train (India's best rail network). Shatabdi/Vande Bharat express trains are fast and comfortable. Or hire a car for the whole loop.
Day by Day
Train or drive to Agra. Taj Mahal afternoon visit (less crowded than morning). Mehtab Bagh sunset view of Taj.
Agra Fort morning. Drive to Fatehpur Sikri (stop, 1hr). Continue to Vrindavan. Prem Mandir light show evening.
Banke Bihari Temple (morning). Krishna Janmabhoomi Mathura. Evening train to Varanasi (Vande Bharat, 6hrs).
Sunrise boat ride on Ganga. Walk the ghats: Dashashwamedh, Manikarnika. Evening: Ganga Aarti (arrive 30min early for spot).
Sarnath (where Buddha gave first sermon). BHU campus. Ramnagar Fort. Lassi at Blue Lassi Shop. Varanasi street food trail.
Train/drive to Prayagraj. Triveni Sangam boat ride (confluence of Ganga-Yamuna-Saraswati). Anand Bhawan. Overnight.
Train to Haridwar (6-7hrs). Transfer to Rishikesh. Settle in Laxman Jhula area. Evening aarti at Triveni Ghat.
White-water rafting Shivpuri-Rishikesh (16km, Grade 3). Afternoon: Beatles Ashram. Neelkanth Mahadev if time.
Yoga session morning. Drive to Haridwar. Har Ki Pauri, Mansa Devi cable car. Evening: Haridwar Ganga Aarti (massive, moving).
