Statue of Unity in February
Gujarat, India
Go — calm post-Republic-Day window, full SoU attraction programme.
Peak crowds
February is one of Statue of Unity's busiest months. The score rates conditions — weather, access, value — not how many people you'll share them with. Modern landmark sees heavy tourism Oct–Feb during pleasant weather; summer heat May–Jun is slowest.
February at Statue of Unity sits at year-second-best — 14-30°C dry days, the Narmada Valley clear, and the 20+ attraction campus running at full programme. The Valley of Flowers continues seasonal bloom, the Jungle Safari park sees animal activity peak, and the viewing gallery panorama remains haze-free.
The February story
Plan two days. Day 1 Statue of Unity (closed Mondays) — viewing gallery, Valley of Flowers, Sardar Sarovar Dam viewpoint, Glow Garden evening. Day 2 — Jungle Safari, Cactus Garden (450+ varieties), Butterfly Park (38+ species), Ekta Nursery, river cruise on the Narmada. Tent City 1 or Narmada Tent City for the stay (all-meal package, regular veg + Jain veg). Day-trip option from Vadodara (90km) or Ahmedabad (190km). Hotel rates standard mid-range. Maha Shivratri falls Sat Feb 14 2026 — Garudeshwar pilgrim spot 10km away sees devotee surge. February is the heritage-and-family-visitor's second-best SoU month after November-December.
