Tip: Less reviewed than Visamo so call before driving out — the kitchen scales down outside the winter season. Garden lawn is the better evening pick than the indoor restaurant.

The closest proper restaurant to Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary — Visamo Nalsarovar Resort's in-house, fully AC Gulmohar restaurant on the Bavla-Nalsarovar State Highway. Wide menu (Continental, Punjabi, South Indian, Gujarati) and the only verifiable sit-down with consistent hygiene in the catchment, given the sanctuary itself has only makeshift seasonal stalls.
Tip: Sanctuary visit is winter-only (Nov-Feb) — combine a morning bird visit with a lunch back at the resort, ~15-20 km away. Inside the sanctuary, makeshift Gujju Kathiawadi stalls on islands serve thalis ~₹160 in season but hygiene is variable; eat there only at peak winter, not shoulder months.
