Konkan side hits 1500-2000mm rainfall through the month; Pali and Mahad-Raigad cut off from Pune by repeated ghat closures on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and the Tamhini ghat approach. Bhima river floods through July — the Siddhatek island boat crossing suspends regularly; the foot-bridge submerges and the small fishing-boat backup runs only on weather windows. Karha river at Morgaon overflows the ghat steps; the temple platform stays workable but the approach floods. Kukdi river at Ozar runs high. Lenyadri 307 steps physically dangerous — rain-slick basalt holds zero grip. Sankashti Chaturthi falls in July (date varies by panchang) and a small dedicated pilgrim group still attempts the yatra; MTDC suspends the standard packages and only specialist religious operators run any service. Push to September festival window or October post-monsoon.
