February keeps Anini sealed. The Dibang Valley is one of India's least accessible places in summer — in winter it's essentially another country. Roads won't open for weeks yet.

Anini at 1,968m is genuinely remote — confirm with the resort directly before counting on a meal walk-in. For Idu Mishmi food the better option is often a homestay where the family cooks; ask your stay host about smoked pork at home rather than ordering it cold from a restaurant.
