Dibang Wildlife Sanctuary — India's second-largest protected area.
Indian wildlife travel obsesses over Jim Corbett and Kanha; almost no one talks about the 4,149 sq km Dibang sanctuary which sits directly north of Anini and is the second-largest protected area in the country after Hemis. A 2015 camera-trap survey here confirmed snow leopard presence at 4,000m+ — a discovery that barely made national news.WHY NOBODY KNOWS
