November is Pushkar's month. The Pushkar Camel Fair (dates shift with lunar calendar) transforms this tiny temple town into a 200,000-person spectacle. Camels, horses, cattle trading. Moustache competitions. Folk music until midnight. The Kartik Purnima holy dip draws thousands to the sacred lake. Temperatures at 12-28°C are perfect. This is one of India's genuinely unmissable events.
