Tea estate walks suspend during the heaviest plucking weeks at the smaller Halgar and Naduvattam estates. Hotel rates at year-low: heritage at ₹2,500-4,500, mid-bracket ₹1,500-2,800, homestays ₹800-1,500. The trip travellers picture cannot happen this month.
