Wildlife concentration recovering through the month — the Western Ghats wet zone is at year-greenest after the monsoon flush. Syntheri Rocks (35km — 300m limestone gorge over Kaneri River, free entry) returns to walkable conditions. Kavala Caves (40km), Supa Dam reservoir crocodile-boat trips.
