Tandi Sangam (Chandra-Bhaga Confluence).
Sissu visitors stop at the lake, the waterfall, and Gondhla, then turn back. Tandi is signed only as a fuel stop ('last petrol pump before Leh' is the famous board) and the actual sangam viewpoint is a small cafe-shrine pull-off below the road, easy to miss at speed.WHY NOBODY KNOWS
The point where the Chandra River (from Chandratal) and the Bhaga River (from the Suraj Tal-Baralacha side) merge to form the Chenab. One of the lowest valley floor elevations in Lahaul, so the air is greener and warmer than at Sissu. A small chai cafe operates next to the water; a tiny shrine marks the sangam. The sound of two glacial rivers meeting is genuinely unusual.
