Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram) holds the Cellular Jail where the British exiled freedom fighters; Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) and Neil (Shaheed Dweep) carry the country's best-rated beaches and the live coral around Radhanagar; Baratang has limestone caves and active mud volcanoes; Diglipur in the north reaches the highest peak (Saddle, 732 m); North Bay and Ross are day-trip islands. The Nicobar group is restricted to non-residents. PADI dive infrastructure runs Havelock and Neil October–May. 12 destinations across the islands.
