Walk-in rates run year-low: Taj Gateway Varkala ₹3-5k, Eden Garden Ayurvedic ₹2-3.5k, mid-tier cliff cafes-with-rooms ₹800-1.5k, hostels ₹300-800. Karkidakam Ayurveda packages start drawing a different traveler. The standard cliff-strip trip is closed. Wait for October.
