Tso Moriri is a pristine high-altitude lake at 4522m on the Changthang Plateau — far less visited than Pangong. Home to Changpa nomadic herders and their pashmina goats. The lake is a Ramsar wetland site with bar-headed geese and black-necked cranes. Truly remote and otherworldly.

Inner Line Permit (ILP) required. Foreign nationals need Protected Area Permit (PAP). Obtain from Leh DC office — allow 1-2 days processing.
