A June Tawang visit is a bet on weather — the first two weeks can be extraordinary, the last two dangerous. The monastery itself functions regardless. The key vulnerability is the road: one major landslide between Bomdila and Tawang strands you. Carry 2-3 buffer days. Hotels at ₹1,000-2,500. If you're a gambler, early June Tawang rewards. If you need certainty, October.
