Sunrise viewpoint at upper Ponmudi (1.5km walk from Golden Peak Resort) opens at 6am; the cleanest light runs 6:30-7:15am before the haze rises. KSRTC bus from Trivandrum 7am, then 10am, 1pm, 4pm — 4 daily, ₹80-120 fare. Trivandrum International (TRV) 70km via the hairpin road, 2.5-hour taxi.
