Outside the fair window, February delivers Uparkot Fort, Ashokan Rock Edicts (250 BCE Brahmi script on the original granite), Mahabat Maqbara, and the 1863 Sakkarbaug Zoo's Asiatic lion breeding programme — all in cool, dry conditions before March's pre-summer heat.
