Calvary Mount (3km from Painavu, panoramic Periyar reservoir view), the Idukki District Tourism Office Kuyilimala viewpoint (1450m), all at peak photogenic. NH85 Kochi-Munnar-Thekkady (190km via Adimali) at year-busiest — depart Kochi by 7am or arrive after 5pm.
