June on Havelock is the island closed. The southwest monsoon delivers 420-470mm of rain across the month with sea state too rough for even the high-speed ferries on most days. Radhanagar Beach is technically accessible by scooter but the rain is constant and swimming dangerous. Resorts that stay open run on backup generators through extended power cuts. The Andaman Public Works Department closes single-lane forest sections after heavy rain. There is no version of Havelock that works in June. The next reliable month is November.
