Akshardham accessible only at the 9.30am open, exiting by 11am before unbearable heat. Adalaj Stepwell's underground storeys remain cool but the surface approach is brutal. Indroda Park's AC museum is the family-friendly fallback. The Sant Sarovar Dam walk impossible. The day-trip to Ahmedabad UNESCO walled city dangerous and not advised.
