Logistics
Fly into Chandigarh. Hire a driver for the whole trip or take HRTC Volvos between cities. All roads are well-maintained national/state highways.
Day by Day
Drive to Shimla. Toy train from Kalka if time (book ahead). Evening Mall Road walk. Overnight Shimla.
Drive to Manali via Kullu. Long day but scenic. Settle into Old Manali or Naggar. Evening walk.
Hadimba Temple, Solang Valley (paragliding/snow depending on season), Atal Tunnel day trip to Sissu if time.
Old Manali cafes, Vashisht hot springs, Naggar Castle + Roerich Gallery. Relaxed day.
Drive to McLeod Ganj via Mandi-Jogindernagar-Palampur. Settle in. Evening Tsuglagkhang Complex.
Bhagsu Waterfall, Namgyal Monastery, Norbulingka Institute (30min drive down). Tibetan food trail.
Drive back to Chandigarh for departure. Or fly from Gaggal airport if available.
