Logistics
Start from Chandigarh. Own car or hired driver essential — public transport is sparse. Roads are narrow but paved. Not for monsoon travel.
Day by Day
Drive to Gushaini via Aut tunnel turn-off. Check into riverside homestay. Evening by the river.
Jalori Pass drive, Serolsar Lake walk (2km flat). Afternoon: Chehni Kothi hike or river time.
Jibhi village, waterfall walks, Shoja. Or GHNP buffer zone nature walk. Trout fishing if licensed.
Drive via Aut back to NH5, continue to Karcham, turn into Sangla Valley. Kamru Fort. Overnight Sangla.
Drive to Chitkul. Walk to Baspa river, Mathi Devi temple, last dhaba. Soak in the end-of-road feeling. Overnight Chitkul.
Return to Karcham, continue to Reckong Peo and up to Kalpa. Evening: Kinner Kailash sunset view.
Sarahan Bhimakali Temple day trip. Or Kalpa village walk, apple orchards, monastery.
Drive back via Rampur, Narkanda to Shimla or Chandigarh. Long drive — start early.
