Why this collection exists

Five hundred years of Sikh history across Punjab, Haryana and Himachal — birthplace gurdwaras (Nankana Sahib in Pakistan, not visitable), the five Takhts of Sikhism (three on Indian soil), and the Anandpur Sahib battle sites.

How the stops connect

Sequence: Amritsar (Golden Temple, Wagah) → Anandpur Sahib (Hola Mohalla in March) → Patiala → Kiratpur Sahib → Damdama Sahib. 7-10 days. The Hola Mohalla festival (March) is the most spectacular window if you can plan around it.
