Guru Shikhar Summit Trek

Mount Abu

Guru Shikhar Summit Trek is an easy single-day, 3 km trek, topping out at 1,722 m. The route takes in Highest point in Rajasthan; Aravalli Range summit; Dattatreya temple; 360° panorama. Best months: January–March and October–December. Watch points: Short but steep final section; can be cold in winter; carry water. Fitness level: low, suitable for children with adult supervision. Pair it with Mount Abu's lakes and temples for a full day—the summit rewards early starters with clear sightlines across four states. Winter visits (November–February) are essential; the steep final pitch becomes treacherous when wet, and afternoon cloud cover erases the view entirely.
