Best months: May–June and September–October. Watch points: Snow wall rappel is real — not for those with fear of heights; operator with fixed ropes and safety equipment is mandatory; pass is only crossable May-June and September-October. Fitness level: high, not recommended for children under 16. Nearest hospital: Civil Hospital Rohru — 60km from Janglik, 3 hours. For Barua side: Hospital Rampur — 100km. Network coverage: BSNL in Janglik (weak). No network on trek. Mudh village has BSNL.
