Annual festival organized by the Gujarat Tourism Department to celebrate tribal culture and the natural beauty of the Saputara region in the Dang District. Features tribal food festival, tattoo workshop, art & craft stalls, tribal costume photoshoot, folk fusion concerts, Warli painting workshop, and performances by over 350 folk artists. First week themed 'Tribal Heritage Week' showcasing tribal arts, crafts, traditional cuisines, and exhibitions of tribal skills.

July at Saputara is the monsoon-peak reverse-pattern season — the SW monsoon at full active phase, Gira Waterfalls cascading at 75 feet, the Sahyadri ridges emerald-green, and fog rolling through Dang villages. Saputara comes alive in monsoon while plains-Gujarat shelters from rain. Saputara Monsoon Festival (Jul-Sep) draws Mumbai-Pune-Surat weekenders.

Active only July-September — outside monsoon, most carts are gone. Stalls run hottest 4pm-7pm to catch the Sunset Point crowd. Mirchi pakora (chilli fritter) is the local order; pyaaz (onion) is the safer one for kids. Carry cash; UPI works at maybe 1 in 5 carts.
