Namdapha

April begins Namdapha's transition. Rain touches the canopy, humidity thickens, and the forest shifts gear — butterflies explode in number, but so do leeches.

Tamenglong

Barak waterfall (largest in Manipur), Zeilad Lake, Zeliangrong tribe, and the Manipur-Nagaland highland wilderness

April is Tamenglong between seasons — winter's clarity fading, monsoon's drama building.

Bangus Valley

केदारनाथ

बारह ज्योतिर्लिंगों में सबसे ऊंचा — 2013 की बाढ़ के बाद भी अटल खड़ा मंदिर।

Temple opens Akshaya Tritiya (late April, date varies). Trek route clearing. Helicopter bookings surge. Only visit last week if confirmed open. Cold and icy.

पैंगोंग त्सो

रंग बदलती झील — 4,350 मीटर पर भारत-चीन सीमा पर फैली नीली-हरी अद्भुत झील।

Road still closed. BRO clearing Chang La. Lake thawing. Earliest opening usually late May. No access yet.

रूपकुंड

कंकाल झील — 5,029 मीटर पर हिमनद झील जहाँ हर गर्मियों में सैकड़ों प्राचीन मानव कंकाल दिखाई देते हैं। भारत का सबसे रहस्यमय ट्रेक।

Snow melting at lower elevations 5-14°C. Bedni Bugyal still under snow. Trek not viable yet. Lohajung accessible.

त्सो मोरीरी

पैंगोंग से भी ज़्यादा खूबसूरत पर बिना भीड़ — चांगथांग के खानाबदोश और दुर्लभ वन्यजीव।

Road still closed. Slow thaw beginning. Lake partially frozen. No services operational. Too early for any visit.

गुरेज़ घाटी

एलओसी पर बसी दर्दी जनजाति की घाटी — लकड़ी के घर और किशनगंगा नदी।

Razdan Pass still closed. BRO snow clearing begins but pass at 11,672 feet takes time. Habba Khatoon peak snow-capped. No access yet.
