Mirasol Lake (Kadaiya) Garden.
Daman is so beach-coded that visitors skip the inland gardens entirely. Mirasol gets domestic Gujarati families on weekends but almost no out-of-state tourists.WHY NOBODY KNOWS
A 30-acre lake-and-garden complex 4km inland from Moti Daman, originally a 1970s irrigation reservoir converted to a public garden by the UT administration. Paddle-boats on the central lake, manicured Mughal-style lawns, a children's railway, and an unexpected Japanese-style pavilion at the eastern end. Locals call it Kadaiya Lake Garden after the village; signage uses Mirasol. Best: Weekday evenings 4-6 PM for the musical fountain; avoid weekends if you want quiet. Reach: 4km inland from Moti Daman via Kadaiya village road; auto 12 minutes from Nani Daman; ample parking. Tip: Entry ₹20, paddle-boat ₹100 for 30 min. Closed Tuesdays. The Hirwa Van Garden (a separate forest-themed park) is 2km further inland and pairs naturally with this stop..
