India's best-kept island secret — pristine coral atolls, turquoise lagoons, permit required.

Why this collection exists

India's smallest UT and its most restricted — only Bangaram, Agatti and Kadmat are open to non-resident Indians; foreign visitors need an additional permit. The reefs are India's densest live coral.

How the stops connect

Reach via Agatti's airstrip (Kochi flights) or by ship from Kochi (18-20 hours). All-inclusive packages handle the permits; independent travel is not feasible. Plan one island per trip — inter-island transfers are slow and weather-dependent.
