The Kakatiya dynasty (1083-1323) ruled Telangana from Warangal — and left the Ramappa Temple (UNESCO 2021), Thousand-Pillar Temple, and Khammam fort as the surviving anchors. Lesser-known than the Cholas, but architecturally singular.
Sequence: Warangal (2 days) → Ramappa (1 day) → Khammam (1 day). All connect by road; Hyderabad airport is the entry. Pair with the Thousand-Pillar Temple in Warangal city — it's a 15-minute stop most travelers miss.
