Why this collection exists

India's second-longest river — and its most under-traveled travel corridor. The list runs from sacred-ghat country (Rajahmundry, Bhadrachalam) into the delta backwaters (East Godavari) where Kerala-style houseboats run on Telugu water.

How the stops connect

Sequence upstream-to-delta: Bhadrachalam → Rajahmundry → Papikondalu (boat-only) → Konaseema delta. Most travel happens by ferry and houseboat; road infrastructure is sparser than Kerala. Plan 5-7 days minimum.
