Best months: May–June and September–October. Watch points: 4650m altitude; technical snow sections; remote no evacuation. Fitness level: high, not recommended for children under 14. Nearest hospital: PHC Jiskun area (seasonal). CHC Rohru 50km (Shimla side). CHC Sangla 12km (Kinnaur side). Serious cases: IGMC Shimla 150km. Network coverage: BSNL at Dhaula and Sewa (weak). No signal from Jiskun to Ronti Gad. Jio/Airtel at Sangla. Zero coverage on pass.
