Pin Parvati Pass is a hard 11-day, 110 km trek, topping out at 5,319 m. The route takes in 5319m pass crossing; Two valleys one trek; Glacier walking. Best months: July–September. Watch points: Glacier crossings; aMS severe at pass; weather can trap you. Fitness level: very high, not recommended for children under 16. Nearest hospital: PHC Jari 15km from Barsheni (Parvati side). Zero medical facilities for 7 days. Mudh has no medical facility. Kaza has PHC. Serious cases: Kullu 50km or Keylong 80km. Helicopter evacuation extremely difficult in upper valley. Network coverage: Jio at Barsheni. Zero signal from Kheerganga to Mudh (9 days of complete isolation). This is one of India's most remote crossings. Satellite phone MANDATORY.

Budget not recommended - this trek requires experienced mountaineering guide with glacier equipment. Guide with equipment Rs 2500/day. Porter Rs 1000/day (need multiple for 11-day food). Operators include both-side transport, all camping, meals, technical equipment, certified guide.
