The crescent-shaped Moon Lake of Spiti sits at 4300m surrounded by stark brown mountains that reflect perfectly in its turquoise waters. While reachable by a short 2km walk from the parking lot, the altitude makes it deceptively challenging. One of the most photogenic high-altitude lakes in India — every angle is a postcard.
